I just finished doing some set design work on Fort Edmonton Park in Canada; a quick and fun project.

Mid-February, I just returned from my travels. I spent the last one and a half month seeing 11 countries.
It was truly amazing and inspiring.
The muse is fed and I'm ready to take on new challenges.

November. Daylight Saving Time just ended today.
I'm not liking the short days, but at least it's warm here in Los Angeleeze.
I just finished production designing a TV show for DreamWorks Awesomeness TV.

I just finished working as an art
director for EDC
creating concepts for the 2016 Call of Duty XP &
July is an exciting month with the opening
of the musical Grey Gardens at LA’s Ahmanson Theatre on which I worked as
assistant scenic designer.
June was a whirlwind month which
featured a pop-up show of my paintings in the Hollywood Hills with acoustic
music by indie chanteuse Barbara Manning, singer-songwriter Kirk Swan,
mandolinist Robert Lloyd, and some guy named Russ Tolman. It was a great night!
Within days we were off for a week in New York City, where we managed to see
four Broadway shows and meet loads of friends for great meals.
May... I just finished a
production design gig for a Commercial. The location was in beautiful
I love the smell of oil paint! The 4th painting of a series called
LOS ANGELES is finished and it found a (temporary) spot on the wall in our house.
I worked on a
production design concept for Collectors Cafe, a TV show with host Larry King that will be airing
sometime in 2016.
March: The crew is installing the set of Sister Act on the Montgomery
Yes, theatre is back in my life! I just started working on Sister Act for CMT in San Jose.
The show will open next year in March at the beautiful Montgomery Theatre
where I designed a number of shows before.
Is it August already? Wow, it's gotten busy again! Besides painting like crazy,
I just finished a production design gig for the Rockumentary METAL MELTDOWN filming in beautiful Malibu.

Southern California never disappoints! There are so many things to do... It's great to finally have some time to play tourist in my own town!

February: Just wrapped up a six month assignment as art director at BRC Imagination Arts
on a major museum project opening in Washington, DC in 2017.
A line is a dot that went for a walk. Paul Klee said that and I decided to pick up the brush again,
painting a series dedicated to the city I love, Los Angeles.

Just wrapping up a romantic summer fling with Harry Potter... that is as a production designer on the NBC Universal Creative team
that is bringing the wizard to Universal Studios Hollywood. Looking forward to more summer fun and new projects.
May. I just finished working as the production designer on a film with German director Gabi Zogall. Milk and Cookies, Inc sure is a fun and wacky little movie... More to come soon...
March. After my one year anniversary working as an Imagineer, I decided to move on... Lots of new projects on the horizon... I'm working now from my own office in our new home and I must say that I really enjoy it!
